Just for Adults Policy
Lincombe Hall Hotel is 'Just for Adults' which means that all guests staying overnight at the hotel must be 18 years of age or over. We however, do allow guests 16 years of age and over to stay if accompanied by an adult. We do allow children aged 12 and older to visit guests staying at the hotel and to dine in the Restaurant with them, however no children under the age of 12 are allowed in the hotel. The leisure facilities of the hotel are strictly for use of guests staying at the hotel.
Single Occupancy
A discount is available for Single Occupancy in a Double Room and will be applied at the time of booking.
One Night Stays
Minimum 2 Night Stay applies on Saturdays all year - late availability for one night on a Saturday is sometimes available - please check on our on-line booking system or by telephoning the hotel on 01803 213361.
Dogs
We do not allow dogs at Lincombe Hall with the exception of Guide Dogs.
Deposits
For direct bookings, we take 50% of the cost of the stay as a deposit with the balance payable 7 days prior to arrival. Guests booking through a travel agent are charged 100% of the cost of the stay at the time of booking. Spa Breaks are charged in full at the time of booking.
Cancellation, No Shows and Early Departures
The first nights stay are charged at the time of booking with the balance charged 7 days before arrival. If cancelled up to 7 days prior to arrival, you will be entitled to a full refund. If cancelled with less than 7 days notice or for a no-show, then you will be charged in full. Early departures will be charged for the full length of stay. Refunds within 7 days prior to arrival will only be made if the hotel is unable to fulfil its legal obligations. Christmas and New Year deposits and cancellation arrangements differ from the Standard Rules and will be advised at the time of booking.
Christmas and New Year Tariff
A separate tariff is available for our Christmas and New Year breaks. No further discounts are available off these rates including Free Night Offers or Length of Stay discounts. All deposits paid for Christmas and New Year bookings are non-refundable, 50% deposit is payable at the time of booking to secure your room, the remaining accommodation balance is due by 30th August. We advise all guests to take out holiday insurance to cover loss of deposits, especially for Christmas and New Year.
Special Offers and Discounted Rates
All Special offers are subject to availability, may be time limited and withdrawn at any time. Offers cannot be combined unless specifically stated and agreed at the time of booking.
Cheques
We are sorry but we do not accept payment by cheque.
Credit Cards
We accept all major credit and debit cards with the exception of Diners Card and American Express. Guarantee of Payment of Hotel Charges and Payment of Extras On arrival you will be asked to sign a registration form guaranteeing payment of all incurred hotel charges. For all bookings, we require a credit or debit card to guarantee your final account and extras charges. All card records are kept securely and we comply with all legislation for protection of credit and debit card records and data protection.
Website Bookings
Bookings made via our website or via third party websites are accepted on a provisional basis only and are not confirmed bookings until written confirmation is provided. Please note the tariff is correct as at January 2021, however we reserve the right to alter or withdraw rates or special offers at any time. PLEASE NOTE: THE CREDIT/DEBIT CARD USED TO BOOK AND PAY FOR YOUR STAY MUST BE PRESENTED ON ARRIVAL AT CHECK IN. IF THIS IS NOT AVAILABLE WE WILL REQUIRE A NEW CREDIT/DEBIT CARD FOR PRE-AUTHORISATION AS WELL AS PHOTOGRAPHIC ID IN THE NAME OF THE GUEST THAT WILL BE STAYING WITH US TO BE PROVIDED AT CHECK IN.
Opening Times
The Spa facilities are open from 7am to 9pm daily. The Spa opens at 11am on Monday's to allow for maintenance and deep cleaning. Treatments can be booked between 9am and 6pm.
Arrival
Upon arrival, please make your way to the Lincombe Spa reception. You will be greeted by one of our spa hosts who will explain our procedures. We recommend arriving at least 20 minutes prior to your first appointment—for your introduction and to complete your wellbeing form. Please note, that if you are late, this may reduce the duration of your treatment. In this event there will be no deduction in the price charged. Treatment times include consultation and aftercare advice.
Parking Car parking is available at our free of charge for guests who have booked directly with the hotel. For guests who have booked via a travel agent such as Booking.com, Expedia or Hotels.com then parking is charged at £15 per night. We use ANPR cameras and guests are advised to register their car registrations within 30 minutes of arrival at the hotel.
Attire
We provide everything you’ll need for your Lincombe spa experience, including robes, flip flops, and towels. Swimwear must be worn in the wet areas, including in the heat experiences. It must also be worn for all treatments—we offer disposable underwear if preferred. Wet swimwear is not allowed in the gym. Suitable fitness clothing and training shoes must always be worn whilst using this facility.
Spa Etiquette
Please be mindful of other spa users and take telephone conversations away from the facilities. We kindly ask that you keep your phone on silent.
Age Restrictions
Lincombe spa is exclusively for guests aged 18 and over. However we do allow children aged 16 years of age or over if accompanied by an adult.
Health Conditions
Please tell us about any health conditions, allergies, injuries, or if you are pregnant when making your reservation. This ensures the treatments we provide are appropriate and safe. On arrival you will be asked to complete a wellbeing form so that our therapists can give you the best possible experience. Lincombe spa cannot be held responsible for any changes to treatments or cancellations that occur due to non-disclosure of medical conditions at the time of booking.
Spa Wherever You Are
To continue your experience at home, we have a wide range of products for sale that we use in our treatments. Your therapist will talk through our range with you.
Personal Property
We regret that we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to personal property. Lockers are available in the changing rooms to store personal belongings.
Gift Vouchers
Gift Vouchers are available for any treatment or spa day experience and can make the perfect gift. If you’re unsure which treatment to choose, we can offer a monetary voucher. This is redeemable against a treatment of the recipient’s choice. Vouchers are non-refundable, to be presented at the spa reception on arrival.
Deposits, Amendments, & Cancellations
Our cancellation policy applies to all existing and new spa bookings made directly with the hotel allowing guests the assurance that a Spa treatment or Spa day package can be cancelled up to 72 hours prior to the date of the booking. At the time of the booking we take full pre-payment for treatments and packages booked. Should you wish to amend your booking in any way, please contact us prior to your arrival. We cannot guarantee we will be able to accommodate any amendments to your booking. In the event of needing to cancel your booking, please provide us with at least 72 hours’ notice. Any cancellations made within the 72 hours’ notice period will be charged in full. We kindly ask that for group bookings of four or more guests that a minimum of 72 hours’ notice is given. Any group cancellations made within the 72 hours’ notice period will be charged in full. Feedback We really do appreciate feedback from our guests, so that we can continue to provide the best experience possible time and time again.
If you wish to discuss any aspect of your visit, you’re welcome to speak to our spa manager or therapy manager prior to your departure. In some cases, with your consent, we may follow up your visit up with an email or phone call. Media & Photography
Lincombe Spa reserves the right to maintain copyright of any photographs taken within our property (both in the spa and the hotel). Any professional photography or filming must be pre-authorised by a manager of Powis Hotels Ltd. Powis Hotels Ltd does not permit press or blog reviews by members of the press, guests, or members of the public without prior consent.
Departure
On departure please return your robe and flip flops to reception and make sure that you have all your personal belongings with you when you leave.
